Jianshan Scenic Area is located in Fuxi Mountain, 4 km to the west of Xinmi Station of Zhengzhou-Shaolin Temple Expressway. Covering an area of 57 square kilometers, it has the highest altitude of 1,108.5 meters and the annual average temperature of 11.6 °C. Its jurisdiction has more than 60,000 mu of forest land, with the forest coverage of 80% on average and up to over 90% in some areas, which brings Jianshan fresh air throughout the year and makes it a natural oxygen bar rarely seen around Zhengzhou.
